We offer multiple services at Greater Sudbury Driving School. From a fully approved, tried and tested Basic Driver Education Course (which provides a certificate of completion to help you lower your insurance rates), to individual lessons to brush up on some driving skills, to specialized services for our seniors, Greater Sudbury Driving School is here to provide you with the training and skills you need to succeed.
Get started on your journey to obtain your Ontario Driver’s Licence with Greater Sudbury Driving School
G1 Drivers:
Online Basic Driver Education Course
$599.99 CAD ($699.99 CAD)
Complete a MINISTRY APPROVED COURSE at your own pace. Once the online courses are completed, your instructor will reach out to you to begin your in car driving lessons.
This course includes the required 10 hours of in-car instruction as well as a total of 30 hours of online education as required by the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario.
Upon completion you will be provided with a certificate which can help you get up to 20% off you insurance rates. Additionally, you are able to obtain your G2 Driver’s Licence 8 months after obtaining your G1 (4 months earlier than normal)

Individual Lessons:
G1/G2/G Drivers
$59.99 CAD
This is to help any driver brush up on their driving skills and prepare for their up coming road tests.
Please note, this will not provide you with a BDE Certification (you will not be eligible for Basic Driver Education Course Insurance Discounts or the early G2 exit test dates).

G2 Drivers:
G2 Exit Road Test Prep
$159.99 CAD
This is will include a mock test evaluation and a warm up lesson immediately prior to your road test to help drivers brush up on their skills. This service also includes use of the Greater Sudbury Driving School Vehicle for your road test if needed. (provided you meet Greater Sudbury Driving School Standards).
Please note, this will not provide you with a BDE Certification (you will not be eligible for Basic Driver Education Course Insurance Discounts or the early G2 exit test dates).

Road Test Only:
Reserve the Vehicle for the Road Test only.
$159.99 CAD
This is meant for G1 or G2 drivers that need to use a vehicle for the Road Test.
Prior to taking the vehicle for a road test, the instructor will conduct an evaluation of your driving ability. If you meet the Greater Sudbury Driving School Standard; you will be permitted to use the vehicle for your road test. The instructor will go over your assessment in detail to ensure you understand the evaluation process.
Should additional lessons be required, prior to meeting the Greater Sudbury Driving School standards, you are able to book additional individual lessons at 59.99/hr.

Senior Drivers:
$84.99 CAD
These lessons are meant to assist senior drivers in preparing for their knowledge or road tests as needed. These lessons are 90 minutes in length and are will be structured to meet individual needs of the senior drivers.
In Ontario, any driver over the age of 70 that is involved in a collision may be required to complete a road test. Furthermore, Drivers age 80 and above are required to complete a knowledge or road test every 2 years.
